Accounting Manager

Seeking a strong accounting leader to oversee general ledger operations in a large, complex environment. This role drives accuracy, compliance, and process excellence while leading a high-performing team in a fast‑paced organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full month-end close for a high‑volume business
• Review GL activity, identify anomalies, and escalate insights to leadership
• Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Drive process improvements across GL, reconciliations, and close activities
• Support system enhancements, automation, and reporting optimization
• Lead, develop, and mentor accounting team members
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and manage audit deliverables
• Lead SOX/internal control testing; identify and remediate control gaps
• Partner cross‑functionally (FP&A, Operations, IT, etc.) to streamline processes
