As a Market Leader at Lucid, your primary responsibility is to lead the overall performance and outbound marketing efforts within your local or regional market, overseeing Lucid studio operations in a retail environment.
Responsibilities BUSINESS HEALTH- Demonstrate a business owner mindset with the ability to analyze sales reports, identify business trends and market opportunities, and develop a plan to capitalize on them.
- Stay abreast of micro and macro market developments, such as grassroots marketing opportunities and broader economic conditions that will influence your local market or region.
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed targets, including identifying local marketing and event opportunities to drive sales.
- Drive excellence in all areas of business to reach expectations for the location.
- Identify technical, operational, and organizational roadblocks and propose solutions.
- Generate and analyze reports on sales, expenses, and other KPIs.
- Own aligned market and grow Lucid’s market share; oversee deployment of retail marketing programs.
- Identify, plan, and execute compelling and efficient marketing plans aimed at generating increased awareness and sales in the local market or region.
- Develop, support, and evolve Lucid’s brand awareness and image at the retail level to drive quality traffic and awareness to our sales studios.
- Manage marketing and event budget, vendor management, local spending, and KPIs.
- Ensure the customer experience reflects Lucid’s brand through marketing and branding efforts.
- Ensure every customer touchpoint creates customer advocacy.
- Manage escalations quickly and effectively.
- Be an inspirational and motivational leader with strong operational skills and a dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences through efficiency.
- Define team and individual goals, implement employee development programs, and provide career pathing.
- Identify high‑potential talent during the hiring process and develop a succession plan for current and future talent needs.
- Resolve people and safety issues timely, collaborating with Human Resources and appropriate teams.
- Own the team, set individual goals, and ensure processes build pipeline and create owners to reach studio goals.
- Assist with daily operations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of team sales management experience with a proven track record to meet or exceed goals.
- Automotive experience preferred.
- Experience making data‑driven decisions and holding the studio accountable to KPIs.
- Proven experience elevating a brand through marketing and event efforts with measurable, quantitative results.
- Experience leading sales management and driving results through others.
- Experience in a start‑up or new product launch environment in an ambiguous retail environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adhere to business‑critical deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective and proven approach to sales and sales operations.
- Act with urgency and champion excellence in all company objectives.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships as a well‑respected, trusted partner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and retail business systems.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends in a retail environment.
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year; drivers under 21 must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years and complete Lucid Training upon hire.
- Ability to obtain appropriate state DMV licensing, where applicable.
- Physical requirements:
ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position, taking into account factors such as job‑related knowledge, skillset, experience, education, training, certifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors.
