Position Overview
The Marketing Strategist is a hands‑on, creative individual responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining high‑quality marketing content and brand consistency for Relief Mental Health. This role focuses on creating content, building messaging, optimization of technology, and executing digital and physical marketing assets while partnering closely with the digital marketing specialist, clinical, operations, and growth teams.
The Marketing Strategist blends strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution, ensuring messaging is clear, accurate, patient‑centered, and aligned with Relief Mental Health’s brand and clinical mission.
This is a On‑Site ( Oakbrook, IL ) position with opportunities to WFH. Must be able to regularly commute to this location.
Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy & Execution
- Create, review, and finalize external‑facing content including social media posts, website copy, blog articles, advertising creative, and promotional materials
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies to support specific growth initiatives
- Regularly review marketing materials and touchpoints to identify inconsistencies and opportunities to strengthen brand presence
- Write and refine brand positioning language that differentiates Relief Mental Health in competitive markets
- Create and maintain brand style guides, tone‑of‑voice documentation, and content standards
- Design and update interior and exterior clinic signage to ensure brand consistency
- Work directly with vendors to update, replace, or install signage as needed
- Build and execute social media content calendars in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Specialist
- Write compelling, on‑brand messaging for campaigns across digital and print channels
- Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand voice
- Partner with clinical teams to translate complex treatment information into accessible, patient‑friendly content
- Write and update provider and therapist bios for the website, directories, and marketing materials
- Monitor brand sentiment across digital platforms and respond appropriately to reviews and feedback
- Create and implement reputation‑focused messaging to support patient trust and credibility
- Track competitive messaging and positioning to inform content and campaign adjustments
- Actively use and optimize marketing technology platforms to support campaign execution and reporting
- Support CRM workflows, data accuracy, and campaign tracking
- Build and maintain Zapier automations to connect marketing systems with internal tools
- Analyze performance data and apply insights to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Create, update, and maintain website content across all service lines
- Ensure accuracy of clinical offerings, provider information, and brand messaging
- Use analytics and user behavior data to recommend and implement content improvements
- Update and ensure all website content is conducive to target markets, utilizing buttons for leads, SEO optimized and up to date on all content strategies.
- Track performance of marketing initiatives and adjust tactics based on results
- Conduct competitive research and market analysis to inform messaging and campaigns
- Prepare insights and recommendations for leadership based on data and observed trends
- Ensure marketing content aligns with compliance, regulatory, and brand requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 4+ years of hands‑on marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on content and brand execution
- Experience developing and executing marketing content in healthcare or behavioral health preferred
- Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms, marketing/CRM technology, social media, and content management systems
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate business goals and strategies into clear, actionable marketing content
