Palliative Care Nurse, Healthcare Nursing
Position Purpose
The Palliative Care RN is responsible for patients and families in the palliative care program and provides palliative care clinical consultation.

What You Will Do- Collaborate with manager to develop performance measurements for the Palliative Care Program to ensure continuous quality improvement and ensure implementation.
- Motivate and support employees to achieve exemplary performance on internal and external customer service, productivity, and accuracy.
- Provide statistical and budgetary data to the appropriate Palliative Care program.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure quality delivery of services.
- Graduate of an approved nursing education program.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
- CPR certification.
- Hospice/Palliative Care certification preferred.
- Home care experience, strong clinical knowledge base, hospice experience, computer skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Palliative Care experience; demonstrate ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills.
- Must be able to work independently and on a team.
- Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations.
- Ability to develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs in Palliative care and end-of-life care.
