Assistant Manager

Summary

The Assistant Manager supports store leadership to deliver the Luxury Retail Signature Experience and drive sales and profitability. This role focuses on developing a high-performing team, maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards, and executing business strategies to meet financial goals. The Assistant Manager also contributes to recruitment, training, and operational execution to ensure strong customer and associate satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor sales and store operations to achieve sales and operating income objectives.
• Recruit, hire and develop talent; create and maintain bench strength and succession plans.
• Provide timely coaching and performance feedback to associates and managers.
• Accurately staff the store to deliver consistent, gracious customer service and meet sales goals.
• Maintain high standards of merchandise presentation and luxury service.
• Analyze financial data, monitor operating efficiencies, and set aggressive action plans to drive the business.
• Communicate market trends, competition activity and Luxury Leadership feedback to the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Sales experience with strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Effective oral and written communication and polished public presentation.
• Team building and management proficiencies; organizational and time management skills.
• Computer proficiency, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: 5+ years management experience in the luxury service industry.
