Accounts Receivable Specialist

Full Time, Days.

• Perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll weekly reports, general ledger and financial analysis.
• Maximize collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, and other sources.
• Identify, communicate, and establish processes to mitigate risks to the revenue cycle.
• Utilize web-based tools and available resources to provide insurance companies with required information.
• Use multiple information systems to accurately select patient accounts, review and verify billable charges.
• Assist with audits to capture lost charges and determine billing accuracy.
• Perform various projects and tasks as requested.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in business preferred or equivalent experience.
• Accounts receivable and general accounting experience.
• High degree of analytical ability and strategic thinking.
