Lead Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom)

The Learning Experience - Oak Creek, WI

Pay: $16-$18 per hour

The Learning Experience - Oak Creek is seeking an experienced and caring Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our 2-year-old classroom. This role is ideal for an early childhood educator who enjoys supporting young toddlers as they build independence, language skills, and social-emotional development in a structured, play-based environment.

What You'll Do:

* Lead a 2-year-old classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment

* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum

* Support early language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth

* Maintain consistent routines including meals, diapering or toileting, transitions, and rest time

* Observe and document developmental progress

* Communicate regularly with families regarding daily routines and milestones

* Guide and support assistant teachers to maintain classroom consistency

* Maintain compliance with Wisconsin childcare licensing and school standards

Qualifications:

* Experience working in an early childhood education setting required

* Lead Teacher qualified under Wisconsin childcare licensing preferred

* High school diploma or GED required

* Early Childhood Education coursework or degree a plus

* Previous toddler classroom experience strongly preferred
