We are partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a small multi-disciplinary engineering team and drive innovation across a specialized industrial product portfolio. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this is a highly visible role with the opportunity to shape engineering strategy, improve execution, and make a lasting impact on the business.

• Lead and develop a team of mechanical and electrical engineering professionals
• Own and drive new product development initiatives from concept through launch
• Establish project management discipline, milestones, and accountability measures
• Accelerate product development timelines and improve engineering execution
• Partner closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to align business and engineering objectives
• Provide both strategic leadership and hands-on technical guidance as needed
• Evaluate and leverage external engineering resources to support growth initiatives
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong track record of successful new product development and commercialization
• Ability to bring structure and process to organizations undergoing transformation or growth
• Confident communicator who can drive accountability and navigate difficult conversations
• Player-coach leadership style with a willingness to remain technically engaged
• Experience with Solid Works or similar CAD platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred
