- Create detailed 3D models, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings using Solid Works or similar CAD software.
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Ensure designs meet engineering standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and installation teams to support project execution.
- Review designs for accuracy and provide technical support during fabrication and installation.
- Assist with design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements.
- Mentor junior designers and support technical documentation development.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, drafting, or a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Solid Works or other 3D CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assemblies, fabrication drawings, welding practices, and structural components.
- Experience creating detailed drawings and BOMs.
- Familiarity with AWS welding standards and industry codes preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field preferred.
