Business Office Manager – Responsibilities- Perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations, journal entries (e.g., accrued, recurring), payroll weekly reports, general ledger, financial analysis, month‑end close.
- Maximize the collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, and other sources of payment. Proactively identify, communicate, and establish processes to mitigate risks to the revenue cycle.
- Utilize web‑based tools and available resources to provide insurance companies with required information.
- Use multiple information systems to accurately select the correct patient account for review and verification of patient billable charges.
- Participate in and assist with audits to capture lost charges and assess billing accuracy.
- Complete various projects and tasks as requested.
- Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business preferred; equivalent experience acceptable. - Experience:
Accounts receivable and general accounting experience. - Skills:
High analytical ability and strategic thinking.
