CNC Programmer

Job Requirements

1st shift opening. CNC mills and turning centers.

Job Description
: CNC programmer will set up, program and, if needed, run CNC milling equipment to produce parts and components. Utilize Gibbs Cam, Solidworks and design software. Set up and program CNC mills, Mazak VTC, Mazak HMC, WIA, Mazatrol and G-Code. Work with engineering on fixture design and implementation.

• Experience in CNC mill programming and setups, 5+ years.
• Mazatrol experience is preferred.
• Expert GD&T and blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with machine measurement tools (micrometers, snap gages, bore gages).
• Expertise in writing programs in machine controller language and storing on media (punch tapes, magnetic tapes, or disks).
• Ability to analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, printed circuit board pattern films, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Write instruction sheets and cutter lists for machine controller to guide setup and encode numerical control tapes.
• Experience with Gibbs
  
  CAM programming.

$32–$40 per hour. Starting wage negotiable within that range. Long‑term position with good benefits.
