Conveniently located in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, we are hiring immediately for a full-time Production Team Member position.

  • Position: Production Team Member
  • Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM)
  • Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
  • Starting Pay: $21.25 - $21.85 per hour
  • Reports To: Probiotic Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Team Member plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate is committed to food safety and quality, embraces continuous improvement, and is ready to contribute as part of a hardworking team.

In this role, you will assist in the production of freeze‑dried consumable products. Responsibilities include preparing products for packaging and distribution, which requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and transporting materials. A strong understanding of food safety practices and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

This position is cross‑trained across multiple stages of production, including freeze‑drying, processing, sorting, and packaging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, mill, package, and distribute products.
  • Follow standardized work procedures and safe work practices to maximize efficiency and workplace safety.
  • Complete all cleaning requirements and successfully pass sanitation inspections conducted by Quality Assurance and third‑party auditors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of production rooms, tools, and equipment.
  • Read and follow instructions, labels, and packaging requirements accurately.
  • Apply labels and tags to products and packages.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Lift and handle raw materials during production processes.
  • Transport raw and finished materials using a pallet jack.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is performed in a food manufacturing environment with frequent temperature variations. Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Work safely in a production setting.
  • Maintain sufficient visual and hearing abilities to ensure workplace safety.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), which is provided by Thrive Freeze Dry.

Food Safety Requirements

  • Place a high priority on food safety, quality, and sanitation by understanding and following Thrive Freeze Dry's food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Hold yourself and others accountable for maintaining food safety and sanitation standards by reporting any incidents, concerns, or improvement opportunities to leadership.
