Looking For:

Licensure or Certifications
  • MA:
    Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within
    45 day sunless department leader has determined it is not required.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices

Degrees:
  • GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
  • MA:
    Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
  • LPN:
    Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing
What You’llDo:
  • Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
  • Prepare patients for exams andassistproviders during procedures.
  • Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
  • Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

As a
Medical Assistant/LPN
,you’llplay a vital roleinthe care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 40 hour work week. Typical hours are 8:30am-5pm. Thursdays require team member to start uires travel to South Milwaukee 1 day per week on Wednesday and Rivercenter Milwaukee location 1.5/2 days per week Mondays and Thursdays.

Pay Structure:

For Medical Assistants the pay starts between $22-24/hr for LPN the pay starts between $24.50-26/hr pay is determined by experience and qualifications of the position. Leaders may be willing to offer more with prior direct experience in the role.

E. Ryan Rd., Oak Creek, WI 53154. It is a specialty clinic focused on the diagnosis and treatment of foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions, ranging from common foot ailments to complex orthopedic and diabetic-related issues.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twistfrequentlythroughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
  • Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
  • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch withabilityto use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
  • Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
  • Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation, if needed.
  • May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must bewornas necessary.
  • Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
  • Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
  • Additional department specific physical requirements may beidentifiedfor unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
