Position Title: AOI Inspector
Wage: $21.00/hour
Shift: 1st and 2nd
Hours: 06:00 am - 02:30 pm, 02:30 pm - 11:00pm

AOI Inspector Responsibilities:- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Operate the AOI and X-Ray Machines
- Conduct quality control inspections on products such as electronic assemblies and surface mount components according to company quality procedures and workmanship standards (i.e. in-process, quality control inspections, first article inspection)
- Completes necessary quality control documentation (i.e. collects inspection data as per inspection procedure; records inspection data using control charts)
- Minimal solder touch-up of assemblies
- Provide feedback to team
- Assists in training of new inspectors as assigned
- Minimum 2 years electronic assembly and rework experience.
- Previous Inspection experience an asset
- Knowledge of IPC A 600 - Acceptability of Printed Circuit Boards and IPC 610 - Acceptability of Electronic Assembly is preferred
- Strong understanding and application of workmanship standards
- Thorough understanding and application of quality standards and control procedures
- Detail oriented, quality conscious, well organized, analytical and reliable
- Ability to understand and communicate in written and oral English is essential
- Enthusiasm and ability to work well independently
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience using AOI and X-Ray equipment is preferred
