Compensation
Starting base guarantee of $48,000–$60,000 plus commission, with top earners reaching $120,000+ (uncapped). Company vehicle and technology provided.
Job OverviewAs a Fleet Tire Sales Specialist, you will sell new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products, manage current customer accounts, develop new accounts, and generate sufficient sales volume to meet objectives. You will represent the company professionally, develop product knowledge through training, and report on market intelligence that impacts business and pricing.
Responsibilities- Pursue and develop new accounts and represent the company to potential customers.
- Travel locally to customer sites to build relationships.
- Sell company-supported products and services.
- Meet sales goals set by management.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information.
- Evaluate customer needs and make value‑based recommendations.
- Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.
- Perform manual tasks, including lifting handled commercial tires and wheels and other related activities.
- Create or increase truck tire sales through regular solicitation.
- Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate them with the service department.
- Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
- Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and proper handling of customer casings.
- Deliver tires to customers as needed.
- At least 2 years of successful sales and/or business‑to‑business experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
- Minimum age 21.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Industry‑related experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree in a related field.
- Previous business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced team environment.
- Self‑starter with initiative, able to work independently, and willing to attend training sessions.
