Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Fire Protection Inspector to join our Milwaukee, WI team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with at least three years of inspection experience who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality work. You will play a critical role in ensuring fire protection systems operate properly, comply with applicable codes and standards, and help protect what matters most for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems and related life safety equipment in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements.
- Identify system deficiencies and accurately document findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Complete inspections efficiently and thoroughly while meeting customer expectations and company standards.
- Provide customers with professional, responsive, and knowledgeable service at every interaction.
- Maintain detailed electronic inspection reports, timesheets, safety documentation, and related records.
- Utilize mobile technology and scheduling software to manage assigned inspections and service activities.
- Review inspection results with customers and clearly explain findings and recommended corrective actions.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and dependable service.
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, equipment, and supplies are maintained in safe working condition.
- Stay current with NFPA codes, industry standards, and emerging fire protection technologies.
- Support teammates and assist with additional inspection-related activities as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members.
- Work independently while managing priorities effectively.
- Pay close attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of fire sprinkler inspection experience.
- Knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and inspection requirements.
- Experience using mobile devices and electronic inspection reporting systems.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with fire alarm systems and/or fire extinguisher inspections.
- NICET certifications or the willingness to obtain certification.
- Additional industry-recognized fire protection certifications.
- State of Wisconsin Automatic Fire Sprinkler System Tester License (Required)
- NICET Certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Additional applicable industry certifications are a plus
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, operating lifts, and navigating stairs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Ability to work in commercial, industrial, and residential environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Ability to regularly use computers, tablets, and mobile devices to complete required documentation.
