Performs pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations;
Drives and delivers trailers according to predetermined route schedule;
Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and ensures all paperwork is ready for dispatch;
Parks and stores tractor trailers in designated areas and secures equipment and freight;
Completes daily hours-of-service logs and maintains general housekeeping of the tractor and loading dock area
