Forklift Operator

We are seeking a Forklift Operator!

Role focuses on movement of products throughout the warehouse using various types of Material Handling equipment. Requires skills and experience to operate/drive manual handling equipment in accordance with local legislation. Mostly requires an externally accredited qualification/license.

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other duties.
• Ensuring timeliness, packaging, and systems work accuracy.
• Identifying and annotating overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operating warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.
• Reading and following detailed instructions in a fast-pace environment.
• Ensuring a safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred — 1 year experience.
• Ability to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and occasional weekends.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others.
• High attention to detail.
• Capacity to work well with minimal supervision.
• Can lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Fluency in English (speak, read, write).

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods. Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above their head. Must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.
