- Responsible for activities related to system administration.
- Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
- Ensures long‑term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
- Implements operating system enhancements that improve reliability and performance of the system.
- Performs systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and other local area system administration functions.
- Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
- Supports IT systems day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
- Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Supports the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
- Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Installs/loads operating system and application software.
- Isolates and resolves hardware and software problems involving applications, OS, hardware, communications infrastructure, or combinations thereof.
- Troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components while implementing OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Integrates new technologies into existing systems, including transition and migration of corporate systems.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree. - Experience:
12+ years related experience. - Technical skills:
- In-depth experience troubleshooting IT systems.
- Ability to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI.
- US citizenship required.
- Role Requirements:
- On‑customer‑site daily support.
- Must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions.
- Physical requirements:
lifting objects (IT hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling, and other moderately strenuous activity. - Travel may be required to support the mission.

Salary Range: $76,500 – $103,500 (subject to experience, location, and contractual terms).
