10+ years related experience; preferred 12+ years.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for activities related to system administration.
  • Assigns personnel to various projects, directs their activities, and evaluates their work.
  • Ensures long‑term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
  • Implements operating system enhancements that improve reliability and performance of the system.
  • Performs systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks, including account monitoring, security, OS installation, and other local area system administration functions.
  • Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Supports IT systems day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Supports the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Supports the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
  • Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Installs/loads operating system and application software.
  • Isolates and resolves hardware and software problems involving applications, OS, hardware, communications infrastructure, or combinations thereof.
  • Troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components while implementing OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Integrates new technologies into existing systems, including transition and migration of corporate systems.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:

    12+ years related experience.
  • Technical skills:
    • In-depth experience troubleshooting IT systems.
    • Ability to provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Role Requirements:
    • On‑customer‑site daily support.
    • Must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions.
    • Physical requirements:

      lifting objects (IT hardware), reaching/bending/kneeling, and other moderately strenuous activity.
    • Travel may be required to support the mission.
