Oak Grove:
Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel (the “Property”) is a newer facility in a high traffic area in the heart of Oak Grove, Kentucky, and across the street from a large Army post, Ft. Campbell. The Property is 10 miles from Clarksville, TN and less than 60 miles northwest of downtown Nashville, TN.
The Janitorial/Cleaning Lead assures the highest possible level of guest satisfaction for the cleanliness of all guest areas as well as the common (public) areas of the 1st floor hotel lobby, gaming floor, lounges, restrooms on gaming floor, offices, restaurants, parking lots and any other area of the property that deems it, so that all health and cleanliness standards are met.

- Directly supervises team members in the EVS Department
- Ensures EVS Attendants are performing duties as instructed
- Maintain a constant awareness of safety and accident prevention
- Supervise the development and implementation of the training program for all EVS employees
- Ensure the department’s day-to-day activities are running smoothly and according to standards
- Prepare ordering requisition for EVS
- Cleaning spills and removing any bio-hazardous materials
- Keep storage areas clean and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
- Keep utility carts stocked with cleaning supplies
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
- Act as a department champion, promoting the department’s and company services and functions to other employees, departments, vendors, applicants, and others who visit the department and property
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common documentation.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from team members, regulatory agencies, or members of the staff.
- Ability to write and present information to management in a reasonable manner
- Ability to quickly and accurately perform normal mathematical computations regarding the implementation of duties.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of instructions and deal with several variables.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
