Duty Days Per Year: 176
Hours Per Day: 7.5 hours per day Monday through Thursday, 4 hours Friday, with occasional evening hours.
Qualifications: Early Childhood license; experience and/or training in working with young children under age 5 in an educational setting; ability to lift 25 pounds.
Summary of Duties: Plan and implement learning activities for preschoolers using the program chosen curriculums. Collect, review and utilize data of students to adapt and extend learning opportunities. Model appropriate peer and adult interactions and problem solving techniques. Interact with parents and caregivers through email, phone and face to face interactions; including weekly newsletters, parent days and conference times. Collaborate with other staff during team meetings, PLCs and professional development.
Positions: 1,020 hours or more per year are benefit eligible.
