Dedicate your expertise to providing comprehensive care for adult patients with various blood disorders and cancers within a dedicated outpatient setting. Collaborative Team Environment:
Work alongside a dedicated team of nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals focused on delivering compassionate and personalized care to patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. Advanced Technology:

Expand your clinical knowledge by managing a patient population with various hematologic and oncologic diagnoses, including experience with stress testing (preferred). Predictable Schedule with Call:
Enjoy a full-time schedule with Monday-Friday clinic hours and call responsibilities occurring at least every third weekend, allowing you to manage your workload effectively. What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive consultations and evaluations for adult patients with blood disorders and cancers. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, considering the unique needs of each patient. Manage complex medical conditions, including chemotherapy administration, blood product transfusions, and supportive care measures. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor patient responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as needed.
Provide ongoing patient education and support regarding hematologic and oncologic conditions, treatment options, and side effect management. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and coordinated care delivery for patients with hematologic and oncologic needs. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system. Who You Are:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine (no state restrictions mentioned). Board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Hematology and Oncology (preferred). Fellowship training in Hematology-Oncology (highly preferred). Current ACLS certification (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to adult patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to manage a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive care.
