Locum Tenens Opportunity:
Diagnostic Radiologist Near Oak Harbor, WA Are you a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity in the vibrant healthcare community near Oak Harbor, WA? Seeking two diagnostic radiologists for locum tenens positions in a tertiary care center. The ideal candidates should possess expertise in:

• Cross-sectional abdominal and thoracic imaging
• Diagnostic ultrasound
• Basic plain films

Additional skills:

• Proficiency in basic fluoroscopic procedures (e.g., UGIs, fluoroscopic-guided hip and shoulder injections)
• Ability to perform US procedures (e.g., paracentesis and thoracentesis) would be advantageous.

Position Details:

• Setting: Tertiary care center
• Duties: Reading abdominal and thoracic CT scans, general ultrasound, and plain films
• FTE: 0.80 - 1.0
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Dedicated film room/image management team. Administrative assistant for departmental support
• Reason for Coverage: Waiting for replacement radiologists to finish up their fellowships and family leaves.

MANDATED

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• License: WA License - Highly Preferred (Will accept IMLC as long as the provider has it by the start date)
• Certifications: BLS, DEA - Required (During credentialing)
