QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid Washington State teaching certificate
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Ability to deal with students in a warm and confident manner
* Ability to remain flexible to changes in assignments or situations
* Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
* Ability to be fair and consistent when working with students
* Ability to properly perceive emotional state of students
* Ability to appropriately monitor and correct student behavior
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Substitute teachers work in Preschool - Grade 12 classrooms in a variety of settings on an on-call basis. Work is based on employee absenteeism and there are no guaranteed hours or benefits.
