MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid Washington State teaching certificate with Elementary Education endorsement
* Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education;
Master's preferred
* Successful experience as an elementary teacher preferred
* Strong pre-reading, core academic skills, and student centered approach to learning
* Experience and/or training working with diverse learning capabilities ranging from special education through gifted including at-risk students
* Demonstrated interest, commitment, and ability to work positively with elementary students
* Demonstrated ability to positively contribute to decision making in collaboration with administrators and other staff members
* Knowledge of Washington State education trends and the use of technology in the classroom
* Ability to provide a highly structured learning environment and work with a team
* Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and positive attitude required
* GENERAL INFORMATION:
