Overview
Our Data Center Mission Critical Group is seeking Principal Data Center Engineers to join the team. This role focuses on creating precise documents aligned with industry standards and regulations, supporting client needs and ensuring project success. Opportunities for travel and leadership roles provide professional growth and meaningful impact. This position can be located in the following locations:

- Engineering Leadership: Drive impactful solutions in the power industry through expert design, analysis, and cutting‑edge data center systems
- Project Direction and Strategy: Lead projects with vision, fostering collaboration, and delivering cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions
- Design Precision & Real‑World Impact: Develop detailed designs, calculations, and documentation, transforming concepts into executable plans
- Field Excellence & Hands‑On Insight: Conduct site inspections and provide practical support to ensure seamless construction and design implementation
- Collaborative Innovation: Work across disciplines to create holistic, forward‑thinking solutions that drive engineering excellence
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Typically requires 6 years of experience in a design engineering role in hyperscale data center design
- Typically requires 15 years of total design experience
- PE — Professional Engineer preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
- Minimum basic level of proficiency in CAD software
- ETABS software experience strongly preferred
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi‑discipline work
- Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites
- Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs
USD $ – USD $ per year.
