Bud tenders are responsible for ensuring the highest quality customer service, obtaining, preparing, and receiving merchandise for customers, totaling bills, accepting payment, making change for customers, opening and closing procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining product knowledge and complying with cannabis rules and regulations. Bud tenders are responsible for complying with all state regulations and company policies. Additionally, Bud tenders should be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills.

They should be organized, able to think, and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Be sensitive to customers’ needs. Take pride in personal appearance and show dedication to the job. Display integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment.

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service by fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere; this includes greeting and acknowledging every guest enthusiastically, maintaining outstanding standards, answering questions and/or concerns, making guests feel appreciated through your actions, and having solid product knowledge.
• Verifyvalidityofidentificationofguestsasperstate regulations.
• Accurately input customers’ orders, collect money from guests and make change; totaling price and tax on merchandise; accepting payment and making change; as well as packaging products in appropriate exit containers as per state regulations.
