Escrow Closer​/Limited Practice Officer

Land Title and Escrow Company located in Oak Harbor, Washington is looking for an experienced Escrow Closer/Limited Practice Officer.

We are looking for a growth oriented and experienced Escrow Closer/Limited Practice Officer to join our dynamic team in Oak Harbor. • Provides a stellar customer service experience working directly with realtors, lenders, borrowers, buyers and sellers during all facets of the closing experience.
• Completes the real estate closing process, ensures compliance with purchase and sales agreements, lender instructions, company requirements and other written instructions.
• Reads and examines title commitments and clears title requirements.
• Prepares transaction documents and completes closing calculations.
• Completes closing transaction documents by assembling documents; reviewing papers with parties; explaining provisions and procedures; answering questions; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; obtaining signatures.
• Completes closing by recording and filing documents; preparing and distributing final closing statements and title.
• Prepares settlement statement by utilizing lender instructions;
  Closes escrow account by balancing and disbursing funds.
• Complies with regulatory requirements by adhering, and enforcing compliance to requirements.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry players that encourage them to choose us as their first choice for title and escrow processing.

• Washington State Limited Practice Officer (LPO) license required.
• Minimum of 3 years of escrow closing / escrow officer experience.
• Must be eligible to be a Notary Public. Current Notary Public commission preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the title and escrow field.
• Demonstrates strong technology skills, using information technology and related applications to convey and retrieve information, strong computer/typing skills in email programs, and various closing software programs
• Customer focused, pleasant, courteous and professional when dealing with internal and external customers or clients
