This is a full-time, on-site role for an Activities Assistant - Memory Care based in Oak Harbor, WA. The Activities Assistant will plan, coordinate, and lead engaging recreational and social activities tailored to support the physical, emotional, and cognitive well‑being of residents. Responsibilities include fostering meaningful interactions with residents, assisting in the setup and execution of events, and collaborating with the care team to meet residents’ individual needs, all while maintaining a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Qualifications- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members
- Experience or interest in Recreation and planning engaging activities for diverse groups
- Background or familiarity with Elder Care and understanding of memory care needs
- Ability to conduct Training and lead group activities or workshops
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a passion for serving seniors
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a similar role is a plus
