Non‑Exempt, Full Time, Day Shift

$35.71 per hour

• Paint, carpentry, and siding repairs or replacements.
• Replace glass in doors and windows.
• Perform minor plumbing, masonry, concrete repairs, and minor electrical work.
• Clean roof drains and gutters.
• Replace electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures, and bathroom exhaust fan motors.
• Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls or ceilings.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Caulk plumbing kitchen fixtures.
• Communicate directly with customers and supervisors to explain unexpected or additional repairs and determine customer needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
• Diagnose problems and suggest solutions to customers and supervisors.
• Communicate with scheduler to update repair status and estimate completion dates.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
• Maintain professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
• Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, decks, stoops, and sidewalks.

• Journeyman certification preferred.
• Knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
• May require climbing in and out of vehicles and up/down stairs.
• Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.

A valid state driver’s license is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance. Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ‑compliant driver’s license, U.S. passport, or military , in accordance with the REAL .
