Several Positions Available:
- 60 semester hours college credit;
Illinois State Paraprofessional Educator Endorsement (ELS-PARA) or High School Diploma to obtain a Certificate for Temporary Paraprofessional License
Qualifications:
- Able to work with students with disabilities
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with special education teachers as well as regular teachers
- Ability to assist teachers with academic instruction
- Ability to relate effectively with and supervise students
- Able to assist students with daily living skills & personal hygiene; computer skills
- Ability to maintain accurate student records, computer skills
- Ability to communicate with parents
