The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming with clients at Westside Children’s Therapy, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing predominantly play-based therapy, the RBT will support Westside clients in the development of a wide variety of skills.
Work ScheduleShifts as needed, Monday - Friday 8AM - 6PM.
Essential Functions- Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients and caseload, following programming written by BCBA
- Engage with BCBA during regular supervision sessions to ask questions and receive feedback
- Collect and record data on patient behavior
- Complete and submit required documentation (SOAP notes, etc.) in a timely manner, aligned with Westside's policies and procedures
- Develop strong relationships with the children on your caseload and strive to make every session a fun experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification required within 60 days of hire

- Competence with a variety of computer applications

- Receptive to feedback with a commitment to personal and professional development

- Ability to learn and implement de-escalation skills for client sessions
- Ability to lift or carry 30 lbs
- Ability to work in a variety of positions, including on the floor during play-based therapy
- Some travel within assigned region for training, meetings and supporting client coverage needs.
