• Guide customers through the frame or contact selection process
• Operate manual lensometer and other tools to achieve proper fittings for patients
• Educate patients about eyewear and contact lens options
• Review eye glass prescriptions and process orders based on medical chart
• Perform eyeglass frame adjustments and repairs, ensuring proper alignment, comfortable fit, functional vision and give instructions on proper wear and care of eyeglasses
• Provide honest but compassionate feedback on aesthetic choices in frames
• Help patients choose corrective lens options that fit their medical needs and lifestyle preferences
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones and monitoring inventory
• Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety
• Design and arrange product displays and create a welcoming patient environment
• Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by the Executive team while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires
• Educate staff and providers about eyewear and contact lens options, and new product developments

• Experience with fitting and selection of both contact lenses and glasses
• Ability to operate lensometers and other equipment
• Excellent customer service and sales skills; demonstrated ability to work with patients of all ages
• Strong organization with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, staff, providers and vendors
• Demonstrated computer literacy
