Prep Academy Tutors of North & West Cook County is a premier provider of private, in-home tutoring. We proudly serve students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 throughout northern and western suburbs of Chicago. We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and reliable tutors to join our Illinois team. You will work one-on-one with students to support their academic success across a range of subjects, tailoring your approach to fit individual learning styles.

• Provide academic support based on expertise and alignment with Illinois curriculum standards.
• Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
• Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student’s needs.
• Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals.

• Energetic and enthusiastic about helping students learn and grow.
• Committed to providing exceptional, personalized instruction and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a wide range of learning styles and student needs.
• Professional, punctual, and organized.

• Hold a valid Illinois State teaching certificate (or equivalent from another state).
• Currently enrolled in a teacher certification program.
• Have 2+ years of experience teaching in a private, public, or charter school.
• Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Are a Master’s or PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at a U.S. university or college.
