A well established and successful food manufacturer with a national U.S. presence located in Chicagoland is seeking a proven Interim Plant Finance Manager
Consultant
to be ON SITE DAILY in Oak Park, IL, to serve as a hands-on leader and support the accounting team and transition to SAP S/4 Hana ERP System. The Interim Plant Finance Manager
Consultant

INTERIM PLANT FINANCE MANAGER CONSULTANT Responsibilities:

• Support finance personnel at the plant level to ensure accurate month-end financial reporting, and monitor and analyze manufacturing cost variances.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and partner with operations to improve job costing, product margin analysis and track spending in line with internal controls.
• Support any ERP enhancement deliverables, analysis, forecasting and data cleansing support within SAP and within S/4 Hana.

INTERIM PLANT FINANCE MANAGER CONSULTANT Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting required.
• Tangible use within the last 5 years of SAP ERP GL system experience required.
• Experience with standard cost systems, material ledger and manufacturing cost control required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations required
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation skills required
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management and analysis and manufacturing processes.
• Highly motivated and dedicated individual
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills necessary to manage multiple deadlines
