EVS Aide

Overview

EVS Aide position in Oak Park, IL. ECLARO is recruiting for a healthcare client. Base pay range $14.00/hr - $17.00/hr.

This role involves daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and all other corresponding unit areas, following departmental cleaning standards in coordination with infection control and safety procedures.

• Responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and all other corresponding unit areas.
• Follow prescribed departmental cleaning standards in conjunction with infection control and safety procedures.
• Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops; vacuums; spot cleans walls; cleans glass/ledges.
• Sanitizes patient room surfaces and bathrooms; performs discharge cleaning of patient rooms.
• Cleans equipment and notifies supervisor/lead of equipment requiring repair; reports safety hazards.
• Collects trash from patient rooms, nurses  stations, and ancillary areas; pulls trash outside around the facility grounds.
• Cleans and sanitizes ancillary areas; assists in cleaning of emergency spills; performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor or lead.

• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; good communication skills; capable of operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums.
• 3 months - 1 year of environmental services experience in a hospital, or high school diploma or equivalent GED (preferred).
• Skills:
  
  follow instructions, good communication, capable of operating heavy cleaning equipment such as vacuums and housekeeping carts.

Mid 5x8-Hour (15:00 - 23:30). Job duration: 6 months with potential for contract to hire.

Pay Rate: $14.00-$17.00/Hour. Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $17.00/hr.
