Are you an experienced Production Planner looking to take the next step in your career? We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Chicago (Oak Park) area that is seeking a Senior-Level Production Planner to join their team. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, optimizing resources, and ensuring products are delivered on time and with the highest quality standards.

$70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to maximize use of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Monitor production targets and make adjustments to ensure deadlines and business objectives are met.
• Analyze historical data and forecasts to anticipate demand and inform scheduling decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, sales, and quality teams to maintain seamless production flow.
• Identify risks and resolve issues such as supply shortages, delays, or equipment failures while implementing contingency plans.
• Document production plans, changes, and performance metrics, reporting on key KPIs such as efficiency, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Planner (or similar role) within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, workflow optimization, and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and work with multilayer Bills of Material.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
