YourPassion1st is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving under-resourced communities through mentoring, coaching, and transformative programs. As an industry leader in Workforce Readiness Festivals and Workshops, our mission is to inspire disenfranchised youth who often face challenges such as limited access to positive role models and low self-esteem. We aim to empower individuals by fostering growth, self-belief, and meaningful connections.

This is an on-site volunteer role based in Oak Park, IL. As a volunteer, you will actively support the planning and execution of mentoring and coaching programs, Workforce Readiness Festivals, and workshops. Responsibilities include engaging with youths, coordinating program activities, and contributing to community outreach efforts. Volunteers may also assist with event setup, participant mentorship, and administrative support. Your role will help bring our mission to life by creating positive change and fostering inspiration among youth and their communities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with youth and collaborate with team members.
• Organizational and planning skills to assist in coordinating workshops, events, and program-related activities.
• Passion for community service, mentoring, and fostering personal development in under-resourced communities.
• Ability to work on-site and contribute flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings as needed.
• Prior experience in mentoring, workshop facilitation, or community outreach is a plus.
• Commitment to the mission and vision of YourPassion1st, with a desire to empower and inspire youth.
