• Perform and document patient evaluations within the hospital setting, ensuring effective coordination with nursing staff, ancillary providers, attending physicians, administration, and other medical and patient care personnel.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families regarding care plans and treatment progress.
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, with coverage every third weekend.
• Hybrid model with potential nursing home coverage included.
• No overnight call required.
• No procedural duties are required.
• No Code or Rapid Response Team (RRT) responsibilities.
• No ICU coverage required.
• Manage admissions for 2–4 patients per shift.
• Average daily rounding on 15–20 patients.
• Paid time off: 15 days, plus 5 days for CME (Continuing Medical Education).

• Licensed and nationally certified Nurse Practitioner (e.g., AGACNP or FNP) with demonstrated expertise in hospital-based care, including acute medical management, care transitions, and team-based rounding.
• Current and unrestricted NP license to practice in Illinois, with valid DEA and Controlled Substance registration.
• Clinical experience in hospital medicine required.
