Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Role is also eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Education and Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements
Current Serv Safe Certification required. Obtain and hold any local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
Management/Decision Making
Applies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness, or a combination of these.
Knowledge and Skills
Possesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has working knowledge of a functional discipline. Must have an outgoing and cheerful personality and be energetic, friendly, and organized. Must enjoy working with older adults and be capable of walking and standing for long periods. Ability to read and write English;
ability to communicate with residents and staff; ability to follow oral and written instructions.

- Manage daily operations of dining room, room service, and convenience store if applicable
- Assign wait staff to sections and all staff to side work, inspecting work for proper completion
- Ensure timely and proper delivery of room service orders
- Ensure smooth opening and closing of the dining room
- Maintain adequate staffing and coverage for absences
- Oversee resident billing for food services
- Assist in weekly scheduling within budget guidelines
- Lead training for new staff and ongoing training sessions
- Supervise special events
- Assist during mealtime as needed, including greeting and seating residents and guests
- In consultation with the Dining Services Director, hire, train, discipline, and terminate staff per company policies
- Maintain resident request logs and coordinate with culinary staff
