Overview
Water & Sewer Worker I at Village of Oak Park.
Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, repair, cleaning and maintenance of Village water and sewer systems, metering equipment, traffic control devices and related facilities.
- Respond to and perform duties related to 24-hour call outs.
- Operate heavy equipment, including snow plowing.
- Travel from site to site as needed.
- CDL Class B with air brakes driver's license within six months of hire and ability to travel between sites.
- Ability to operate all heavy equipment, including snow plowing.
- Exposure to dust and noise; exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy conditions caused by weather.
- Some heavy lifting, standing, climbing and potential work at heights.
- Full-time
- Package: $33.4890/hr probationary rate; $37.21 after probation.
