Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR, Inside Sales
Diversified Spec Sales Inc. is a Manufacturers Representative with offices in both Metro Detroit, Grand Rapids and Cleveland area. We have been around since 1963 and are looking for new team members to join our growing location in Metro Detroit.
The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Enjoys working with partners, generating interest, and qualifying prospects.
Responsibilities- Source new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and emails
- Prospect call preparation including company background research and other pertinent lead information
- Identify customer's buying trends
- Enter, update, and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects, and opportunities
- Work with customers to help solve problems that may occur
- Answer inbound emails and calls
- 1+ year of customer service experience
- 1+ year of sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work

Diversified Spec. Sales consists of 5 divisions:
Commercial Plumbing, Architectural & Interiors, Residential Plumbing, PVF, and Plumbing Commodities. Our footprint has grown to 28 employees covering five states (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Western Pennsylvania).
