Staff Accountant
Would you like to work for a Fortune 500 company right down the road in Oak Ridge? This is an immediate need. Please apply today for immediate consideration. Pay rate $19-20/hr.
* Prepare journal entries with proper support for assigned accounts.
* Prepare inter-company and other account reconciliations.
* Generate inter-company statements for use by offline subsidiary accounting staff.
* Locate and distribute inter-company transaction supporting documentation for use by offline subsidiaries.
* Research and re-class suspense items as needed.
* Prepare balance sheet flux analysis.
* Assist with periodic and quarterly reporting and SOX compliance requirements.
* Escalate unresolved issues to direct supervisor.
Other special projects as assigned
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in accounting.
Advanced Excel skills, including vlookup statements and pivot tables.
Good verbal and written communication skills Desired Qualifications.
Public accounting experience.
Education:
College degree preferred.
Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP system
