Job Description
This Subcontracts Administrator role is the operational backbone of X-energy's procurement and vendor relationships — preparing, negotiating, and administering the contracts, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements that enable America's first advanced nuclear fuel fabrication facility to source materials, services, and systems with the compliance rigor and cost discipline a DOE-regulated, NQA-1 environment demands. conduct detailed cost and price analysis per X-energy, federal (FAR/DEAR), and industry standards; maintain compliance with DCAA, CPSR, CFSR, and Prime Contract requirements; vet vendors through SAM.gov exclusion checks and approved vendor list management; and serve as the primary contracts interface between internal stakeholders (program managers, finance, engineering, quality) and the external supply base that makes TRISO fuel production possible.
