Senior Construction Safety Professional

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Construction Safety Professional opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.

• Perform project oversight inspections.
• Perform hazard assessments.
• Perform accident/injury investigations.
• Review safety documents.
• Attend various project meetings.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 20+ years of construction safety experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• OSHA 30 hour training for construction is required.
• CSP is preferred.
• Industrial hygiene experience is a plus.
• Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in hot/cold environments, and operate a motor vehicle.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Security Clearance. Active DOE Q is preferred.

This will be a full time position supporting CNS Construction. The standard work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm, and some overtime Monday through Sunday may occur.
