Construction Coordinator

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Construction Coordinator to support our client in Oak Ridge, TN.

The Construction Coordinator supports field execution and day-to-day construction activities across assigned projects. This position serves as the primary field liaison between contractors, engineering, and project leadership to help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and site safety requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and support a strong safety culture by reinforcing safe work practices and compliance with established site safety requirements.
  • Manage project administrative responsibilities including site access, badging coordination, and field logistics support.
  • Coordinate submittals and approvals between contractors and engineering teams.
  • Support day-to-day field activities to ensure work progresses safely and according to schedule.
  • Serve as the first-line contact for contractors regarding daily field issues, safety coordination, and construction activities.
  • Monitor daily construction progress and verify adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
  • Support and monitor quality control activities in the field.
  • Generate and maintain daily field reports, documentation, and photo logs.
  • Assist in identifying field issues, tracking schedule impacts, and communicating updates to project leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting construction projects in industrial, commercial, government, or DOE environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to construction safety and experience working within established safety programs and procedures.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced field environment and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • DOE Q clearance preferred.
