Position: ELA Teacher
Location: Oakridge High School
Qualifications:- A Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education.
- A valid Secondary Michigan Certificate as a teacher in the State of Michigan with an English (BA) or Language Arts (BX) endorsement.
- Recent teaching experience at or near level in subject being applied for is desirable
- Demonstrated success as a collaborator and proven team player
- Knowledge of the “workshop” format of instruction preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of teaching to multiple intelligences
- Demonstrated successful communication skills with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community
- Demonstrated successful experience utilizing technology
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grade Level Content Expectations and application in the classroom.
