JOB EXPECTATIONS:

• Demonstrate the ability to provide instruction in a co-teaching learning environment
• Be able to develop an appropriate learning environment with effective classroom management

• Demonstrate ability to organize and plan the instructional program
• Demonstrate skills in evaluating the instructional program and student progress
• Possess effective interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate willingness to grow professionally
• Demonstrate knowledge of elementary subject areas
• Special Education case management
• Be able to schedule meetings, write IEPs, and appropriatly document progress towards IEP goals
• Any other duties as assigned by the Principal/Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree and Tennessee teaching license with appropriate endorsement required.
• Teaching experience preferred. Case Management Experience preferred. Requires the Elementary School Special Education endorsement.
• Salary paid in accordance with the Teacher Salary Schedule.

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $55,661 to $98,518 Per Year
