Nuclear Criticality Safety Engineer III Responsibilities
- Using discretion and independent judgment
- Nuclear Safety Engineers are responsible for creation of Nuclear Crit Safety Documents, which comply with 10 CFR 830, DOE Standards and procedures.
- Develop and maintain NCS documents.
- Interface with management and operations to resolve nuclear and criticality safety issues.
- Daily to weekly written and verbal communication with operations, engineering staff, management and DOE staff.
- Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of which at least four must directly relate to the required area of expertise.
- Experience supporting the development, maintenance, or implementation of safety basis documentation is required.
