Senior Electronics Engineer – Oak Ridge, TN
- $115,000 – $134,000 base salary + bonus

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support advanced industrial and power electronics projects in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact engineering initiatives that support critical energy infrastructure and national security priorities.
About the RoleThe Senior Electronics Engineer will design, develop, and deploy control and drive electronics for industrial systems, with a focus on power electronics, embedded systems, and motor controls. This position involves hands‑on problem solving, collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and leadership on technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and test power electronics and control systems for industrial equipment
- Develop embedded system solutions and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and optimize complex electrical and electronic systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and operations teams
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of experience in industrial electronics, power electronics, or electric machinery design
- Hands‑on experience with embedded systems, manufacturing, or R&D environments
- Strong knowledge of low‑voltage DC through three‑phase electrical systems
- Experience with tools such as PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or OrCAD preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to obtain (or currently hold) a Q security clearance
